Student finance loan request

My maintenance loan is not enough so I want to request more but I don’t fully understand how to do it. Do I print the student finance request documents and send it to their address or do can you do it online. Also how long will it take for them change my SF

You can amend your application in your online account to change the requested amount.

It can take up to 6 weeks for changes to be reassessed if your application requires a manual assessment after you submit changes
