use cosine rule to find the length. Then use the formula:1/2 a*b*sinc to find the area, and add both the triangles.

Use the sine rule to find another side in the non-right angled triangle - I can't check what you did because I can't see all of it.

Not sure what the first few lines are about ....

What are your first three lines of working about?

You did use the sine rule but I can't see what you got.

Hi, sorry for the late message,

for the other non-right angled triangle, cosine rule is not needed. Angle DCB is 98 {180-44+38} from there you need sin rule to find the small b ( the side opposite B). Replace the letter D with C and C with A.
[a/sin A = b/Sin b]
10/sin98 = b/sin38.
so: b= 10/sin98*sin38
Then use the formula 1/2 a*b*sin c.
