So I plan to apply for uni starting in September 2021. I've taken 2 years out and will be 20 years old when I start. Will this affect the amount of student loans I would get compared to if I had gone to uni straight out of school at 18?

It won’t change anything. Am 28, left college 9 years ago, even started an open uni course in 2015 but dropped out and they ignore that.
