Hi there! I study Social Work at Wrexham Glyndwr University and it is a great course! I'd recommend it if you are looking to study Social Work in the future. You may have to contact Universities regarding entry requirements from previous grades/courses completed, as I know different places ask for various requirements and may not all be the same. I think it is a possibility though, as my background/qualification before starting my Social Work degree was childcare. I would suggest contacting some Universities and see what they ask for and if they accept the early childhood course. To practice as a Social Worker you would need the Social Work BA hons degree. Childhood courses alone can lead to various work with children/families, but to fulfil a Social Worker role (if this is what you wish to do), then I would suggest completing that degree instead, which is a 3 year course and leads to Social Work registration. Hope this helps!
