i need help on chapter 15 of aqa a level biology...is hyperpolarisation and the refractory period the same thing (in the action potential graph) as maby graphs on google show them both in the same place.
the refractory period is when an action potential cannot be produced due to the axon not being depolarised whereas hyperpolarisation is when the voltage gated K+ channels close to returns back to rest potential..... so why are images showing them in the same place and which one do i learn for aqa ?
