So its freshers at my uni (im a first year) and I'm really struggling, I like my flatmates but they're not really my kind of people, its been hard but I've really been putting myself out there but I haven't really found anyone I properly get on with.

I've been asking on different groupchats (course and accommodation) about whether I could go with people to different freshers events I've booked, but I think because most people already have a group of six and aren't allowed more than six, I'm not really getting any replies.

My first night out was really good but I haven't heard from those people since despite messaging them saying I had a good time and that we should do something again.

I really don't know what to do, I feel like i'm wasting my freshers week but I don't feel as though I could be doing much more to improve my situation

I really don't know what to do, any advice?
