Could you transfer from a UK university to Stanford?

Could you transfer from not a great UK university to Stanford if you do very well in your first year?

Ive never heard of this.
I think it would be very difficult coming from UK to US uni as the systems operate fundamentally differently.

Now to transfer into Stanford, well your looking at a super competitive uni with very limited transfer spots.

Add to it you describe your uni as not great, thats probably the nail in the coffin.
I guess you could email admissions but I think you'll struggle.

Also have you looked at the international fees for stanford, where you wont have access to SFE support.

You probably can, but your chances are really slim. I imagine you need to take the SAT or ACT, score well, and maintain a first class average.
