Hi I am doing a BTEC level 3 National Extended Diploma in Business. Would I get into the university of Liverpool?

The courses I'm thinking about are criminology, philosophy or politics.

Yeah I was just wondering if they were picky when it comes to the subject of the BTEC I was doing. I did a BTEC instead of A levels you see and I was wondering about the implications of me getting in or not

I thought that this bit was encouraging, though.

"BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma

Applications encouraged. BTEC applications are encouraged. We evaluate each BTEC application on its merits."

If I were you, I would ask them. The contact details are here:

If you meet the minimum entry requirements then you have a shot, but meeting the grades alone isn't the whole application so no one can say you will get in. You'll also need to write a good personal statement, showing them why they should take you, and more extracurriculars / work experience will increase your chances too. Then it just comes down to the amount of competition and how well you compare.
