Hi, I was wondering about my Uni applications, I take a level Biology and want to study either radiology(radiography) or Biological Sciences, but when I go to the requirements, they ask for 3 A levels, I take A Level Bio, A level Business and Level 3 B tec IT, If I manage to get high grades and a distinction for IT, will Uni's accept me, bearing in mind most them only require the one science A level (Biology). Any feedback would really be appreciated.

I got into Bristol for Politics and Spanish with a BTEC Level 3 90 credit diploma in Business (DD), A Level Philosophy (B) and A Level Spanish (A*). The only required subject was a modern language, so there was no problem for me in receiving an offer for it despite doing two A Levels and a BTEC.

You are doing the required science A Level, so I don't see any reason why you shouldn't get an offer, as long as your predicted grades are high enough.

Each Uni (and each course) will treat BTECs slightly differently.
They are not automatically equal to an A level.
For some subjects BTECs are not 'academic' enough for the intended degree.

You need to check with each University - before you apply.
