I have done English literature at a level but not history I am interested in taking some history modules but I don't know what I am in for. If anyone could shed some light at what I can expect it would be much appreciated

History student here, going into my second year. Not really sure how to sum it up really but happy to answer any questions that you have I thoroughly enjoy it. I would say my main point is that, like English, it is far more interpretation based rather than content/memorization heavy (which surprised me due to the insane amount of content I had to learn for history a-level).
