I'm currently on my gap year and got my results for my A levels in August. I didn't get what I'd hoped for so I'm retaking English lit in Autumn but have a feeling it won't go as well as I would hope for.

If I retake English lit in the summer, what happens in terms of coursework? I've done two pieces of coursework but does that now mean I'll have to complete two new pieces of different coursework as well as the exams in the summer or do they take the old coursework into account.

All elements of the NEA are marked for a single overall mark which then gets submitted. What you've done already may count as part of it but if there's more to be done you've have to see if your old 6th from is willing to support you in finishing this and then marking it - and then lets you sit the exams there.
