I study in grade 10 CBSE and I want to change to a levels year 12. I have no prior knowledge about computer science but would like it to be one of my a levels. Would this trouble me?
Probably not. Not everyone has access to CompSci at GCSE or A Level, so even some degree courses teach CompSci assuming no prior knowledge. You should be fine at A Level.
That said, you're in Year 10 now. You want to do CompSci in Year 12. That's two years to teach yourself a few things so you have a head start over everyone else. Plus if you have no prior experience it might be worth exploring the subject to see that it's right for you. How do you know you want to study CompSci if you have no experience after all?
