I've worked in Waitrose before.
Induction is not a test, they tell you everything you need to know about the firm.

Whereas, Probation is where you can fail.

What branch did you get into?

Did Waitrose not tell you? Ask Waitrose and they'll tell you everything. I stopped working there for awhile so I don't know if things have remained the same.

It's a 90 day tester for you and them to see how well you perform. If you don't perform to the required standards, then they can get rid of you.
