for univerisity? (just interested i already have an idea of which field of Eng i want to go into and the grade requirements are no joke lol

The entry requirements are largely determined by the university and how popular the course is, rather than the specific discpline.

There isn't really any difference unless you're talking about some niche courses like general engineering or engineering design which are typically offered by higher ranked universities and so have higher requirements.

If you think the grade requirements are difficult then you need to look at different unis, once you drop away from the standard AAB-A*AA there are plenty of good universities which require BBC/BCC or even lower.
