Hey,

If I go to a restaurant abroad (in Europe, say Italy), be it a buffet or not, then is it okay or not to take some into a Lunchbox back Home (hotel where I'll be staying at) ? Like for taking it latter on/for dinner (and to save on the monies I guess). Probably a silly question, apologies, clearly I don't really travel much... Thnx

Yes.
Cutting down on food waste is becoming very popular.
Many restaurants are willing to provide you with a bag to carry your leftovers but bringing your own food container will generally come in useful.

Thnx, cool, will do next time (bringing with me a lunch box), already reached Italy, Rome/"Roma!" for the time being, nice idea of just asking them for a bag to carry my leftovers with.
