I have a copy and a photo of the original one?

What happens if they lose both copies can I get them back by reordering?

You can buy another officiated copy of your birth certificate if you lose the original

Yes but you are at risk of identity fraud if someone finds it.

If you lose your birth certificate you are officially unborn and must crawl back into your mothers womb or face imprisonment.
