I've set up an interview with someone who has moved into pharma from medicine and I'm coming up with a list of questions I think would be useful to those wanting to know more.

It's part of a series where I interview medics who've diversified their careers so want to make sure I cover what people are ACTUALLY interested in

Wow nice.

What role they do and what other roles are possible
How it compares - what do you miss about medicine, what is better. Pay.
How to achieve it - who you talk to, what qualifications.
Who would you recommend it to.

Would also add:
- When the best time to leave medicine for pharma is (I’ve been told that they prefer four years of medical training as a minimum).
- Bad points of the job
- How much responsibility they take on - a non-doctor friend of mine in pharma says medics get paid loads but take on a lot of responsibility for it

Thanks both!!! I had the interview this morning and covered a lot of these points so I'll let you know when it's up. Next time, I'll ask more in advance
