Hi, a 39 y.o. musician here with an aptitude for Maths and data/computing.
Post-15 all my qualifications were in music and humanities, even though I was very good at Maths.
How can I create the most competitive application to Oxbridge in 2-3 years time, to study Maths or CompSci? Would sitting Maths and Further Maths A-levels be enough (and getting A*/A) , plus I can show my foreign music qualifications from 20 years ago?

Thanks in advance!

I would contact the colleges and email them a bit about yourself to get a feel for whether they would consider you. If they won’t ask what you need to do to get a strong application in ? I would look at A Levels or Access or something but before doing that speak or email the universities you want to apply to. You may well get in with your old qualifications as long as you revise them.
