Hi! I'm from Italy and I might be applying for university in the UK.
1) From what I read, you MUST apply through Ucas. Is that correct?
2) You can only choose five universities ( and in each one as many courses as you want) or five degree courses?
3) Do the five universities/ undergraduate courses comprehend foundation years? I mean, if I apply for a foundation year, is it considered one of the five "blanks" to fill?
Thank you in advance, hope everything makes sense.

1) Yes. You have to apply through UCAS.
2) Five course choices - they dont all have to be at different Unis.
3) Foundation courses count as a 'choice'.

Thank you. Say that for example I apply in 2020 for five university courses. I get into foundation and decide to go there for example, and attend my year. In 2021 I have to apply to a degree course this time, but the previous year I had already applied for five choices. Can you make five choices every year, or once you make all of them, you have no more chances to apply?

If you do a Foundation course, and pass it, you automatically go onto the full degree at that University.
Foundation courses are not a 'qualification' - they are there as a pathway onto that degree.
You don't use them to apply for other Unis.

What if I do foundation at one University and want to attend a degree course at another one then? That would count as "one of the five choices"?

If you want to apply for both 'Foundation entry' and 'main degree - year 1' entry they are two separate choices.
