Hello, I'm thinking of going to Keele University next year (hopefully)
Are you allowed to have people sleep over the night etc your partner?

Hi!

It's great that you're thinking of coming to Keele!

Yes, ordinarily it's absolutely fine to have a guest to stay over in your room. There's a few regulations (guests aren't permitted in the first two weeks of a semester, for example, and you have to register them using the accommodation portal to comply with fire regulations), details of which are on our webpages at https://www.keele.ac.uk/discover/acc...accommodation/.

There's also a hotel currently being built on site that will offer ensuite bedrooms that, once open, ca provide accommodation for visitors and guests who you might not want to stay in your room (such as if your parents or if a larger family group came to stay). Again, more information is at https://www.keele.ac.uk/hotel/.

It should also be said that all of this is subject to the Coronavirus situation. During the current semester, for example, guests are not permitted into any of the accommodation at Keele due to Covid-19 restrictions and to ensure that student households can live in a 'bubble' together. Hopefully this won't be applicable by the time you start your course however!

If you have any other questions about Keele do let us know here, or you can live chat to one of our students via UniBuddy: https://www.keele.ac.uk/study/chat/.
