I passed my driving test a couple of months ago and very early on I realized that personally I do not enjoy driving. I am a very anxious person so driving and being responsible for myself/ passengers/ other drivers and my own car is proving to be quite stressful for me. I have already visited my local garage many times about my care for instance 3 punctured tyres. I just feel as though how did I pass when I'm having so many difficulties with it. If anyone can offer advice or their personal story with driving please reply.

Being anxious about driving is quite common. You don’t have to have a car. It’s not by force . Maybe your not ready yet it takes time . You should try to get used to it little by little.

Take time. You honestly don't have to rush... it (literally) isn't a race.

Go and do a PassPlus course or take a couple lessons to improve your skills and boost your confidence. Independent instructors and driving schools all over offer some sort of training for new drivers who need it.

Take it slow. Drive around town; try different bits like roundabouts and junctions in your own time and slowly progress to dual carriageways and stuff after.
