Does anyone have any advice on which graphics card is better for video editing? I have the option between 4GB and 8GB.

I’ll be going for 64GB RAM and I can always buy more storage.

I’ll be editing 1080p and 4K footage on premiere pro mostly.

It’s for a film production course, but I’ll be looking to keep and use it for a good few years after Uni

Thanks

Depends what your budget is?
What processor are you using?
The video card tends to be by far the most expensive item in a pc. In the next 3 months vide cards are changing generations, so I would hold off till all the benchmarks are in and we know whats available and which presents vest value. In addition it will also mean the second hand prices will fall.
