Hi there been at uni for just over two weeks now and I’m having big thoughts whether to leave or not? I was put in a flat with all girls and I’m male which is making uni really hard to socialise as all the activities are with households. I haven’t really talked to anyone over the weeks either which is really making feel that is should leave. All the clubs are virtual so I’m finding it very hard to make friends that way as well
Any advice thanks

Cleanliness, no leaving socks and other dirty clothes about.

Have you tried just getting to know them? They may be all female but presumably there is at least one who you might get on with.

That does seem a bit mean. Are you all doing the same subject/course? Perhaps you should speak to the accommodation department. I wouldn't be happy either if it were me.

God when I was a Fresher I'd have hated having to be quarantined into a flat with 6-12 female freshers...

On a more serious note, just get to know them, girls are really not that different to guys.

honestly, you could be a stud if you get this right. switch it up weekly with a girl of your choosing. not to mention they'll bring over more girls. why do you want guy mates, its not that good. just play ps4 in your room, watch netflix and play with these girls. if theyre ugly then try getting a new accomodation. honestly the fact that you're contemplating quitting uni shows you only went for the night life and social life which means you got no motivation for a degree so you might as well just quit before you fail your course and waste 9 bags a year

You say this but there are some truly filthy females out there, and I don't mean filthy in a good way :afraid:

Big thoughts on leaving the flat? Do you want to have a rep you can't live down for the next 3 years? I won't be surprised the girls are thinking .... "we only have one guy and he never talks to us?" Seriously, do you want to be in a flat with all guys? LOL

If you are really unhappy then contact the accommodation people and ask if it's possible to move. I can understand why you might feel uncomfortable and to be honest I'm not very impressed with a uni that would do this!

Honestly, this sounds like every guy's wet dream. What's wrong with girls?

Spoiler:

Could get crap when they're all on their period, but in normal times, surely it'll be fine?
