- make sure you specifically focus on and answer the question and the right one-
Cover the whole book (beginning, middle end), unless chapters are specified
- include evidence from the book and I am not sure if it is need, but secondary sources are good for evidence
- group similar ideas together, to make stronger points
- make sure paragraphs are not a whole page, as my teacher says this makes it harder for examiners to read- so a quarter to half a pager is good, but this is just an estimate (but don't get bogged down on this it is quality over a set amount, as long as you have a variety of points it's good)
- include key subject vocab
-Scholars are not needed
- include your opinion and have a clear line of argument (how far do you agree e.g. to some existent)
- I think you should have an introduction and conclusion
