My brother is studying Maths and Further Maths this year. Edexcel suggest FX-991EX advanced scientific calculator and FX-CG50 graphic calculator. The scientific calculator is much cheaper than the graphic calculator so what is the benefit of getting the graphic one. And where is the cheapest place to get the graphic one?

Hi there,

Honestly, I have both and the graphics calculator is much easier and you can draw graphs with them. For me, I prefer graphics, but I know some people who can work with the class-wiz.

I got my graphics and class-wiz supplied by school. Check if your school supplies them. I got my class-wiz for about £18 and graphics for £75.

I hope this was helpful.
