Sorry mate. That's not love. After 16 years and she's married with kids, it's not even infatuation. You have to face the facts and the cold truth that this is nothing more than obsession and since you don't look like you are able to get over it after all these years, then you really should see a psychiatrist to help you move on. And, move on you must, it's the only choice. You are not the only one in this kind of situation. Many have move on, so can you. And you will.

Yep you’re going to have to move on. You don’t need her anyway. I’m sure you’ll find someone else. Life IS worth living even without her you just need to stop focusing on her so much so you can actually realise all the other good things in life. I hope this helped
