Plato theory of form

Does the Plato theory of forms successfully explain the nature of reality ?
You might be better off posting that on the philosophy or mathematics part of the forum.
99% of philosophers agree it doesn't, 1% of philosophers are platonic mathematicians and not to be trusted

I don't think it does, but it's not meaningfully falsifiable (I can't do an experiment to disprove it), although it isn't really logically consistent.

Indeed. Notably by himself in Parmenides (vis-a-vis its limitations) and his own student Aristotle!
