Bah Humbug!

Does anybody else hate christmas? I used to love it when I was a kid but ever since my parents got divorced it sucks so much. Every christmas eve I am on my own with my dad and he gets drunk and angry with me so i spend it in my room alone.

Cant wait til boxing day!

Yeh I'm having quite a depressing Christmas this year - everything's falling apart, too much stress. Tbh it's quite a lonely Christmas this year - but I probably only feel that cus I broke up with my first boyfriend ever :frown:

we're still friends but it's not the same and I'm not used to being alone again, even though it only lasted two weeks :frown:

(but unofficially about a month)

this evening my mum had a serious word that she hadn't bought me any presents cause its a waste of money since ive got everything :confused:

but she said shes just gonna give me £100 pound in a card instead.

i don't know what to make of it, its quite a lot of money yet i dont get anythin to unwrap what do you lot think of her?

My mum says that all the time, I still get all the usual homer simpson socks and tourches. In fact on average I get about 4 torches every christmas.

What is more important than any present though is love, and I am sure your mum loves you, that has to be worth much more than any flashy brand new Mini some spoilt kids get.

This Christmas is better then last years. Dad and his GF broke up last week so I don't have to put up with her this year I don't think.
Still don't like it though...had a few arguements already I just can't socialise with family.

Christmas is the best time of the year, but it doesn't compare to those times when we were 12,13,14,15..... I'm still not knocking it though, it's great!

I miss that, Christmas dosn't seem very special any more. I still like christmas I suppose, but I would be much happier if I had another half to share it with.
