therefore they "struggled", not "struggling"

i think its (e) even thought it says 'seemed' you'd notice that seemed is in the underlined potion of the senetence! Hence, that too maybe wrong. But, then again I'm not enitirely sure, more like 85% sure. Where was this question from?
and even if there was 'fewer' wouldn't that compare two elements. The question has most which is more than two. BUT then again im not sure, just leme know where this question was taken from :biggrin:
