I recently applied for WSOP Linguist and didn’t quite pass the CBAT. I’m in my final year studying BA Modern Languages at University
I’ve decided to go for the Intelligence Analyst Linguist rôle instead now. I know it says there are opportunities to learn new languages in the role, but I wondered if there’s acknowledgment of languages which you’re already proficient in? In my case French, Spanish and Italian. I’m really excited by the idea of learning another new language but I wonder if there’s any consideration given to maintaining pre-existing language skills. Many thanks in advance, any advice about the role much appreciated!
