Last year at university I didn’t really miss home once. Now that I’m back and I can no longer distract myself with societies and clubbing I’ve realised I’m so alone. I have no friends.
I’ve never really had friends. I’ve had school ‘friends‘ and university ‘friends’ but that’s it. I feel like a lot of my ‘friends’ take advantage of me and I just feel so mentally drained.
I just feel alone and I’m not sure what to do anymore.

Are you in university now? Why can't you distract yourself from societies?
What do you major in? Do you have boyfriend/girlfriend?

I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way!

Are you currently at university? And are you staying in halls or student housing? If so, do you get along with anyone that you live with?

Many universities are still running their societies! Have you double checked to make sure yours aren’t running? If they are, join one and put yourself out there!

Please remember you’re not alone! I’m sure hundreds of people are feeling the same way as you. If you’re seriously concerned and worried about staying, look at your course. Is your learning online? If so, you could move back home.

I would highly recommend staying. Talk to those you live with. Any particular reason why you feel your friends take advantage of you?

Keep your head up!

It’s never too late to make new friends, you need to focus on yourself first and your inner conflict before u get involved with friendship groups.
