Depends what you want to do after. If you want to study those, or related subjects, then yes they're useful, but if you want to study something else like medicine then no, they're not useful.

It depends upon what you wish to study in the future, but they seem like a solid combination if you wanted to study Economics, Business, Sociology; potentially Law. The social sciences could be useful in giving essay skills for a variety of degrees. Whilst Business and Sociology may be perceived to be "soft" as long as they interest you enough to get good grades you should be okay (two of my four were arguably soft but enhanced my skills in the subject I wished to pursue at degree level). Good luck!

Do not take Economics and Business together. Some universities treat them as 1 A level and you effectively would be classed as having 2 A levels. Take either but not both and look for another subject as your 3rd subject. As individual subjects Economics and Sociology are on most universities preferred subjects list. Business sometimes is and sometimes isnt. Look at things like Law, Politics or Psychology as your 3rd subject unless you are looking at taking Economics in university when many will want A level Maths.

As above, something to be aware of is that a number of universities do not like the combination of A-level Business Studies with A-level Economics due to overlapping content. I might recommend considering another subject in place of one of these as a result. Otherwise each of them individually are perfectly fine choices.
