Do the unis actually care about UCAS points? Or do they just care about the grades u get for a level

I think that UCAS points have lost the weighting that they once held. Universities no longer set a points tariff but instead a usual, 3-grade requirement. I hope this helps!

It varies- generally speaking most good universities request a-level grades (or a level 3 equivalent such as BTECs) but some lower tier universities convert their request into UCAS points
