Hello,

I am filling out the SAQ and came across this question - what sort of thing is acceptable to put in here? I do have some circumstances that I think I would like to mention and I'm not sure where else to put them (if to mention them at all) so any guidance on what this question is typically used for would be really helpful, thanks

This is like the drawer you might have in your room for things that don't really have a home - it's for whatever needs to go in there. If you have things that would qualify for Extenuating Circumstances, please get a teacher/doctor/social worker to fill in an Extenuating Circumstances form for you. The new form will be published here shortly.

I was also wondering if it would ever count "against" me, even unconsciously? Thank you

Really no, it won't. Please use the ECF or that box (bearing in mind the SAQ box is more limited in space) if you need to!
