Mabye this is a common problem but I’m a girl of 17 and I just don’t find any boys my age attractive? However when I see a guy of 25 drinking with his mates I’m just so in awe I can’t even explain. Why do you think this is because all my friends are dating boys and I just don’t like anyone

For me, it's not about age but priorities. I've realized that few people my age have the qualities I'm looking for. That's why my ideal range is 5 to 12 years older than me. But I'm 17, and don't want to give anyone a case so I'll remain single for now.

However, if I meet someone of my age I'm compatible with or even slightly younger, I would be fine with dating that person.

To each their own. I will never date someone old enough to be my father. God forbid such. Imagine wasting my beauty on someone so old. Your priorities are sex and being able to spend the person's money however you want. I'm looking for a life partner not a sugar daddy. I would rather be with someone closer to my age, and teach him how to please me than be with a grandfather. Also, I'm not going to waste my years with an old dude cause I'm not looking for an overly rich guy. I work and I earn my own money to get myself lingerie and whatnot.

And when you say mistress, what definition do you mean? Cause if you mean the mistress of a married person which is the common definition, you should be ashamed of yourself. That is absolutely disgusting. But if you just mean a partner to an older person, suit yourself. I'm not interested. Imagine being 30 with a boyfriend that's almost 60. Could never be me. The dude would have been 38 when I was 10. I hope no girls who read your comment follow such an advice. It's misleading and disgusting.

I relate, and gathered that I think it’s the maturity from my own experience. Obviously men under 25 can be mature, but somehow there’s something different in the maturity of over 25s...feel free to correct me so that I can learn from what I’ve said but it feels something along the lines of that

The age gap preference has been observed scientifically since decades ago, and as common everyday knowledge is much older. Also men easily lose mind for attractive women. While in films it's usually about men manipulating girls, in real life I've seen only young guys manipulated by girls.

Overall it's a very difficult problem, next to impossible to be described in rules, so it's just important that parents should be on guard.

I don't agree with 'much older'. I also preferred older guys but there is a limit as obviously it's rare for an old man to be physically attractive in my opinion. What's attractive about older men is generally they have more of their s**** together, financially secure, self confident etc

Physically i won't lie but wrinkles and saggy bits are just not hot.
