    obviously they use the euro now, so thomas cook etc wont exchange the money, but do u think they nederlandsche bank in london would exchange it for me?? also is there one in london?

    how strange is that. Why were you given 'GULden'? Im from nederland. I think you might still be able to change it.

    a neighbour, gave me '750' nederland thingy, and said i can keep it all if i can find someone who can exchange it, but im beginning to think its pretty useless

    how did you come across gilders?

    is it a substantial amount?

    as its a withdrawn currency, and probably hard to get, you could ebay it. collectors are on it

    in belgium they dont let you change the old belgian francs anymore, and i think it is the same for holland. why would anyone need old money??
