I’m 14 years old with strict parents. I saw this really cute 2 piece I’m obsessed with but I don’t know if it’s appropriate for my age :/ I don’t want my mum to think I’m trying to impress anyone because I’m not. I also have quite a large bust so everything I wear is already deemed inappropriate (even if it’s not). She says I have a nice figure, so boys will always be looking at my body and sexualising it. Like if I didn’t have a nice figure would she still let me wear a bikini? I mean my 9 year old sister wears (almost) crop tops so I don’t think it’s unfair if I wear a bikini. Yes I am a feminist, but I’m also a 14 year old girl who wants to dress appropriately. help...

There isn't an age requirement. It would be inappropriate to wear a bikini to school or in a shop but if you're at a beach or a pool then it's appropriate.

In my opinion, it's fine to wear a two piece. I even see young children with two-piece swimsuits, so it should be fine.
