Each month we'll be picking a theme, and awarding prizes based on that. The theme for October is "Best Title" so if any of you haven't started your blogs yet, now's the time to start!
We'll also be having random prizes for blog posts we like and more :yep:

Additionally, remember there's a £10 amazon voucher for the person we feel has been most supportive in GYG blogs by the end of October :yay:

Tagging in everyone who posted in last year's GYG one last time, then we'll be switching to people posting in this year's blogs

there's a thread explaining it: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=6641244
A reminder to everyone that we'll be judging the best title and best supporter so far in GYG tomorrow, so if you haven't started your blog already then now is an excellent time to start :woo:

Does your GYG have to be in the GYG section?
I've made a blog in creative corner and am taking it in a more GYG-ey direction to try and win this competition as a form of self motivation. Would it still be eligible to win prizes despite not being in the GYG section?

It has to be in the GYG section unfortunately, otherwise we'd inevitably miss some when judging, whereas we can do a search by section. If you want your blog to be a GYG though someone can move it over here

Are you able to do that or should I ask someone else?
Here is the link to it if you are able to do so: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=6701708

Start a blog in the grow your grades forum  Nope, not too late at all, we encourage people to start them whenever they think they would be useful for them :yep:
Hey everyone :wavey:
Hope you're all doing okay in Lockdown 2.0! We know lots of people are doing mocks at the moment so good luck for those if you are :hugs:

Just here to announce the winner for the October competition of best title in GYG so far :woo: :yay:

You will recieve a £10 voucher

We also really liked some other titles, and these together with the winner have become our November featured blogs on the Study Help Welcome Page :gah:

We will organise you to have some rep added to your accounts :party2:

The November Competition will run a little differently. We would like you to (before end 30th November) to share your top tips with your readers surrounding mocks or coursework (whichever you prefer) and tag me (@Lemur14) into the post so I know that's your entry! Don't add me pernamently to your tag list if you have one though, that's cheating  Your tips can be anything from just a line or two at the end of your usual update to an update containing all your tips and can be about anything to do with this topic from organising yourself to be ready for them, what to do to keep calm while writing them or how to review them afterwards!
Good luck to everyone :goodluck: :ymca:
