Do I need to contact SFE if I want to switch universities

Hi

Writing this post on behalf of my brother

Recently, he got his BTEC grades(DDD), which is far higher than the uni he chose to attend(which needed like 48 UCAS points..)

So he has two questions

1) Can he switch universities. He has only been at his current uni for a few days as the academic week started last week

2) Is UCAS needed to switch unis this year?

3) Can he get new Student Finance? Or now that he registered with his uni, he is stuck and can't swap? Can the SFE funds he got (and that was paid to his initial uni), be transferred?

What's the best course of action?

Hi, I will answer your questions in order.

1. Yes, he will need his first university to withdraw him and his new university to contact us to transfer him over.
2. We are not linked with UCAS, this isn't required.
3. Yes he can transfer
