I am applying for band 5 Trainee biomedical Scientist jobs in the NHS. I keep seeing the Annex 21 pay guides for trainees. For example it says one year of being a trainee before qualifying can get paid 75% of maximum of the pay band. So I would like this broken down into actual numbers because I´m not sure if that means 75% of 24,509 or 75% of 30,615?Please help if you know! Thanks.

You've answered your question. 75% of the top of the band. £24k isn't the top of the band, is it?
