Hi everyone

I thought I'd start a thread for us to chat in.

I have sent off 6 mini-pupillage applications this month. I have my heart set on a particular chambers. I know I shouldn't but I do. I am going to work on a few more this coming 2/3 weeks.

How are you guys finding it? Almost everyone is closing up shop until god knows when.

What are we supposed to do in the meantime? For someone like me, I really want to stand-out but I am struggling to find a way to do so!

Plus, uni is in lockdown so no-one to chat with really.

A mini pupillage is work experience with a barrister.

I should hear back on a mini-pupillage application this Friday for 4 New Square.

It's my first one! I don't think the application is as strong as later ones.

Well, this was rejected today.

Not that surprised. I realised my most recent applications were a bit stronger because I incorporated myself and my history into the answers. I tried to make everything more personal. Let's see if it works. I applied for a mini to 2 Temple Gardens the other day. Fingers crossed.

In other news, I got an offer for a virtual mini-pupillage this morning. I am so excited.
