hey! i'm an american student who just got a conditional offer from ulip (french studies and intl relations) but i'm a little confused. the US schools i'm applying to have a response deadline that is way earlier than that of ucas schools, so if i wanted to go to ulip i would have to decline all of my US offers and wait until my AP results came in. my worry is that if i dont meet ulip's (or another offer's) conditions, i wont have a US school as a backup. are any other american students having this dilemma?

omg hey we both got an offer for the same course congrats! Can't you just accept a US one now and then if you want to go to ULIP you can accept it later or somehthing? I'm sure there's something you can do. When is the US deadline?? Sorry I'm actually from the UK so idk how that works x

thanks! congrats to you too! i think the US deadline is May 1st but i just looked it up and turns out I can accept admission to a college and back out later (i'll probably lose a deposit but that's future me's problem). once i get all my results back i'll weigh the pros and cons for each school and decide if ulip is best for me!
i just sent off my ucas yesterday and i’m applying for french & international relations at ulip! has anyone got any interview tips or is studying the same course?

I applied for int. politics but I would say to think about why you want to study your subject, how you think living in Paris will benefit you and maybe some areas of int. relations that interest you

You don't need to be fluent for any of the courses they offer, the most they'll ask you for is A-Level French. However, even if you don't study A-Level French you can apply to certain courses. Look on their website to see what they offer.
