different types of nursing

when picking a course do I have to pick just one are is there a course where I get to all of them?

Nope, you apply for one field and that's the one you do all the way through. You might get one different field placement in 1st year.

You pick one. A very small number of universities offer 4 year Dual-field courses where you can study two fields of nursing. But there is no course which would allow you to do all of them :smile:

I would really like to do the dual award, do you know anything about it? (Specifically adult and child)

Dual field courses are an Integrated Masters degree leading to qualification in 2 fields of nursing. Both Masters & Bachelors Level nursing degrees will lead to a Newly Qualified Nurse starting at Band 5. The 4 year Integrated Masters aren’t as common as the 3 year Bachelor courses, but a decent enough amount of uni’s offer them! I’ll link a few below so you can get an idea of what the courses entail at different uni’s, there are even more out there though so I’d recommend looking further into your options on UCAS:smile:
