How does freeze thaw weathering really change the coast landscape? I know that it let’s water, and freezes and water expands making it crack because of the exerted pressure, but how does it change the landscape ?

It's a form of weathering therefore, by breaking down the structure of the rocks (e.g. cliffs in particular) it allows other processes to take more effect and therefore acts more like a catalyst for changing the landscape.
Hope that helps!
