I have to eat it with them but I don’t want because they are too loud and just waffle on about some crap and argue a lot. I want to eat it on my own like most other people like my friends are allowed to. I don’t like it and when my dinner is ready I get shouted across the house at. I just want to eat alone in my room or wherever I’m away from them. I know I’m living under my parents roof but I’m 19 years old what other person has moved out my age unless they go to uni or are rich. I was asking today if I can make my own food and just eat on my own but I’m not allowed.

Yes but if I had the money to move out I’d do it but what person my age has the money to move out it’s not my fault like I said. Plus just because it’s their house doesn’t mean they can be controlling because it’s not normal

As someone on the other thread said (and please don’t make duplicate threads btw), could you gather up the dishes after dinner and do the washing up/load the dishwasher so you can leave the table early?

Seems abnormal to me. We always ate in separate rooms with our own computers.

I was just saying because someone suggested last time that I should cook my own dinner but I literally asked and I’m not allowed

You are 19. You don't ask to make your own food, you go buy it and cook it.

Yes, I could sneak out to the shop tbf but they’ll say I’ll still have to eat with them and won’t let me have it
