game design nua

hi so my partner is planning to do game design courses and his main choice is game design at NUA. we both do a btec extended diploma for game design at college right now.

he has been looking at this course and is concerned he wont be able to get in due to the course not being a science/technical subject, though i was wondering if he would still have the choice of going to nua and doing this course considering that the course we are doing right now is related? would he have to do a extra foundation year at uni?

Heya there, can't 100% answer your question but I did a related subject to graphics when I was doing my a levels and still got in. They were more interested in my portfolio rather than my grades and subject choice. Hopefully that helps. Also u can drop em an email and they should reply
