I am stuck on Q6 for my Cambridge SAQ as I am unsure what UMS is and the difference between modular/linear A Levels. In Year 12 I sat exams at the end of the year so does this mean they are linear? If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated.

Edexcel and some other boards I assume, offer them as "parts" - you can take them in any order as you wish and finally make up your full A level. This is "modular"

On the other hand, CAIE and some others offer them as all parts together in one sitting of exams. This is linear
