Depends on the age.

A 40 year old going with a 60 year old is socially acceptable.

A 20 year old going with a 40 year old is frowned old.

A 1 year old going with a 21 year old is not.

Some people advocate the "÷ 2 + 7" rule

One's age divided by 2, then plus 7 is the youngest person they can go for.

Then he's too old for you. The youngest he should date should be 18 according to "the rule".

You would be underage since you are still considered a child and he is considered an adult.

I think being friends for now with him might be better for social conformity reasons, and when you're 18 nothing can really stop you

Quick question: if someone was 14 and someone else was 13 in 2 weeks, who here would think this acceptable??

Gone anon to protect my identity but certain people will know who I am!
