Homerton - Confusing lockdown protocols

Homerton Lockdown:
1.Going outside - they were told that they would be allowed outside for 1 hour per day. This seems not to have happened. If they go out they cannot get back into their rooms. Maybe time slots could be given so that they can enjoy some fresh air and exercise. Even prisons allow this right.
2. Food is delivered to the room, however, some of the menu is unclear i.e. vegetable of the day and dessert of the day. Our kid - in an effort to save money and avoid waste - only orders what he can identify. It would be good to issue a clearly worded menu - this could be delivered through facebook/social media.
3. All food waste has to be double-bagged and kept in their room for the next 2 weeks. Bags have not been provided. There must be a way garbage could be collected each day.
4. Our kid was supposed to have been tested today but did not receive any communication about it. This waiting and lack of information causes even more anxiety.
These students are kids and they have never had to deal with these situations before.
Information is empowerment. Please communicate with them on a regular basis.

Your complaint might do better left with the college, there are no Homerton reps on here to see it.
