I annoy people at work by avoiding talking about sex.

People will ask me at work about how many girls I have had sex with, about what positions we have done it in and stuff.

I will then change the topic subtly to politics (which I really like talking about) and stuff like current affairs.

It makes my co-workers quite angry, I think.

Just ignore them. They are quite immature for getting upset because you do not want to talk about subjects you don't feel comfortable talking about.

Maybe they're annoyed that you're talking about politics. And couldn't care less about the sex.

Tell them to mind their own
If you don't want to talk about it you shouldn't have to.

I just wouldn't talk to them altogether, they sound like very unpleasant people.

Politics and sex as the main focuses of discussions? Bloody hell
I get quite annoyed when people talk about politics as well, there is a time and a place and imo work is neither of those. Why not try talking about something a bit more pleasant.

Politics is a subject many people don't like to talk about, but I agree that refusing to talk about sex is perfectly reasonable. You could argue in a workplace it is unreasonable to intrude into anyone's private life, and for anyone who is gay or bisexual, it may be even more difficult for them.
